Balance, 2014. Balance is a sense of stability in the body of work. Balance can be created by repeating same shapes and by creating a feeling of equal weight. In photoshop, I brightened this photo with a brightness of +5.
Unity, 2014. Unity is seen in a painting or drawing when all the parts equal a whole. In a photograph showing unity, all parts are in focus. In photoshop, I changed the hue to -11, the saturation to -23, and lightness to -24.

Pattern/Repetition, 2014. This is an element that occurs over and over again in a composition. It can repeat the element in a constant pattern and can also repeat the element in a variation of the pattern. In photoshop, I when to the black and white tab, and then selected tint.
Balance, Contrast, Movement, 2014. This photograph shows movement because it shows action. The girls in the photo are directing the viewers eye to them. Also they are above the ground which indicates that they are moving. This photograph shows contrast because you can see the opposites and differences in color in this photo, black and white. This photo shows balance because you feel a sense of stability when you view this photo. Both girls are doing the same pose which looks balanced. You feel a sensation of equal weight. In photoshop, I just changed this photo from color to black and white.
