Wall Project
Studio: Project 2 (Fall 2012).
To start this project we picked a precedent and did advanced research on it looking at plans, sections, elevations and finding out the one main thing that the architect focused on for the project. The next phases was to choose one of three sites, each with a retaining wall in our sculpture garden on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We did an inventory of the site involving sun, shadow, circulation, accessibility, etc. and our job was to create a wall that would fit in the space while focusing on the inventory and the main aspect of our precedent.
