Conversion of the Taj Mahal hotel into a Hard Rock property. Renovation of 2000+ keys, guest elevator lobbies and corridors. The original tower had +1200 keys; due to the shape of the building, we had approximately 80 different room types for the renovation where all of the rooms and suites were remodeled and replumbed. The additional tower built several years later had 800+ keys with a Presidential apartment on the top floor.
Project Contribution:
• Responsible for the design development, project management of all guest/suite room design and mockup room development/installations for all standard guest rooms, suites, corridors and elevator lobbies for the hotel/casino property.
• Performed as the owners representative/ guardian of the brand; Managed a team of external design consultants for the interior design development/documentation of the hotel. Reviewed design documentation and approved all materials for interiors.
