Hard Rock Café renovation located in Reading Terminal / Philadelphia. While tipping our hat to the steampunk genre, we remodeled the existing dining room and transformed an old storage room into a new private dining room and bar. Many of the wood and metal materials used in the space were repurposed or recycled items from the existing building or provided by local craftsmen.
Project contribution:
• Developed interior design concepts for the project including branding and iconic elements, color palette and FFE direction.
• Managed a team of external design consultants
• Acted as the owners representative/ guardian of the brand, performed project management duties during development and construction
• Locally sourced antique case goods, lighting and artwork; worked with local craftsman to retrofit items to suit the café business functions.
• Provided all art direction in the field during construction
