The Braun project was the first long-project in my second year in a pair. We created a life size model of a dental recipient. To do this, we followed Braun’s graphic chart and values, creator Dieter Rams. This dental equipment has a removable reservoir. It’s composed of an electronic toothbrush which refillable and dental jet with variable power. We decided to hide the medical side of the product to create something unfettered and simple. Dental equipment is an important element in a bathroom and it’s easily identified. It’s why we decided to create a more intriguing object which doesn’t reveal its function. To do that, we were inspired by the different Braun radios. Moreover, we wanted to stay away from the medical aspect to create an object lauding simplicity and discretion.
