Lotus Side Table - This side table is made of laminated black walnut and lace wood on the top and base. It's balanced with three 2" ribbons of aluminum which are secured in place, creating the shape of a lotus.
The table was to be made of metal and be contained within a 25" cube. It's total dimensions are 24"W x 25"H x 17"D.
20-Disk CD Tower - This CD storage system was designed be a 20-disk desktop CD holder. It had to be easy to manufacture and could be made of any wood product, metal or acrylic.
The base and backbone of the CD tower are made of stained oak, the disk shelves are laminated wood with an oak veneer, and each shelf is separated by an aluminum spacer with a small steel rod passing through the center.
Perfume Bottle - Perfume for a woman should speak to femininity and sensuality. Nothing achieves that more than the female figure. This perfume bottle was designed to do just that. With long slow curves and a soft sparkle, this perfume bottle celebrates feminine beauty.
Pump Sprayer - Taking on the task of designing for Universal Design is not easy. As a team, we tackeled the redesign of traditional spray cleaning bottles, such as Windex. They can be difficult for people with joint issues, leakage is a problem and as well as efficiency when holding the bottle at an angle. With our new design, liquid can be applied directly onto a sponge or rag with slight downward pressure.
