Nike Blow Molded Sandal
By using regrind and new materials to repurpose older Nike Air technology, We were able create a whole new category of footwear for Nike. This process was an exploration into how we could develop a sandal using limited construction methods and no adhesives so the product could be recycled at the end of life. Also included in the challenge was the ability of Nike to repurpose the existing manufacturing infrastructure of their blow molding technology.
