ORIGAMItable - How will our life looks like in few years? What will we need to have in our dwellings? These questions are really difficult to answer. I focused on a group of students and young people. They move quite often because of their studies or internship. Every few months they stay in another flat and most of the time they have serious problem with moving, selling or just chucking out their furniture . Here has started the idea of having piece of a furniture which will not be so expensive, ecological and easy to take with. The desing started initially with paper and then came the idea inspirated by well known traditional japanese art called Origami. You can simply create eight desings just from piece of plywood and textile fabric. And why coffee table? Students care first about stuff which are necessary for them, like for example bed or work table. But imagine to invite your friends for a coffee and show them this nice coffee table, every time in a different way.
