THX 1138 Poster - This is the first in a series of a personal project; to pay homage to some of my favorite films by doing its poster. Here the key plot points of the film are presented in the design from bottom to top. In this way the audience is invited to relive the film experience by reading its events in order, leading ultimately to THX's escape to the surface.

Update: This poster is now available as a high quality print at inPRNT.

The Phantom Of The Opera - Silk-screened poster design for The Alamo Drafthouse’s special show of the 1925 classic silent film.
The color scheme refers to the early two-color form of Technicolor used in the "Bal Masqué" sequence of the film, where the Phantom presents himself in the guise of the 'Red Death'.
Taming Light - Stanley Kubrick Exhibition Poster - Poster for Taming Light, a group exhibition featuring painting, photography and illustration inspired by the films of Stanley Kubrick. The show was presented at the Light House Cinema in Smithfield, Dublin during October '09.
Metropolis, The Alamo Drafthouse SXSW - Poster for The Alamo Drafthouse's special SXSW screening of Fritz Lang's classic silent film, produced as a limited edition in silk-screened metallic inks.
Two different variants of the poster were made, one in two silver inks, the other in two gold inks.
The Wolf Man - Limited Edition Poster - Poster for Universal Pictures' 1941 classic horror film, starring Lon Chaney Jr.
Screenprinted limited edition in metallic inks, with a glow-in-the-dark variant run.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - Screenprinted limited edition poster for Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", the story of the 1,000-year-old leader of a travelling theatre troupe who made a deal with the devil.
The Night Porter movie poster - Another piece for the movie poster series, Liliana Cavani’s 1974 film “The Night Porter” is a controversial film that inspired me to portray some of its provocative themes.

  • I really like this! it looks super cool! The only thing for me though was that I had a REALLY hard time reading the type of the title. Only after I read in your description that it was indeed a poster for METROPOLIS did I look at it again and start to see it. Good stuff!
