Tide App

Tide is a Surfing forecast app, which is more natural way of processing wave and tide data. Rather than trawling through tables and bar charts, tide creates a more gestural way of exploring the waves through time. Tide is broken down into three distinctive screens which allow users to browse for the day ahead, the week ahead and view the high and low tide times as well as sunrise and sunset.

Tide has been a great journey and with over 80,000 users on Windows Phone. We are really excited to launch iOS and Android versions soon as well as for home assistants like Google Home and Amazon Echo.

  • Hi Robin, thanks for your kind words about my work. The video has done using Illustrator and After Effects. It's pretty simple to use and edit between the two, Just make sure you name your layers in Illustrator and use lots of Comps in After Effects. There are tonnes of great tutorials online.
