The category of the convenience stores is dominated by the big brands with a heavy footprint and many ExtraMile Heavy Users perceive ExtraMile as a secondary, “fill-in” convenience store option. We needed to break habits and steal Heavy Users from all competitors by bringing meaning to the brand and presenting a credible reason for these customers to make ExtraMile a part of their daily routine.
