Working for Strand on their Tree Theory bag line was a very nice introduction to softgoods, enforced local manufacturing, CNC bending, waterjet cutting and upcycled materials.

I came up with the unique gaskets that would retain the bent rod that acts as a closure/fastening system as well as the endcaps. We managed to make and source this bag entirely in Chicago.
