KitchenAid Chef's Chopper - The new KitchenAid 3.5 cup food chopper was designed with the user in mind. Placing the chop and grind button on the lid was the result of observing users placing a hand on the top of products to help secure the product while in use. The resulting design offered users a similar experience to that of simple coffee grinders. BPA free cup and lid accommodates the increase in home made baby food.
KitchenAid Food Processor - The KitchenAid food processor brings new to market innovation. The externally adjustable blade delivers the best in class slicing performance and user control. Placing the handle to the side of the bowl enables users to observe the processing of food with little visual obstruction. The lid is sealed to help contain food and minimize cleanup efforts. Multi speed controls offer users the ability to chop, shred, slice, and mix foods at their appropriate speeds, delivering great results.
The Pro-Line KitchenAid counter top appliances were designed to embody their Heritage and build on the quality of the brand. The food processor has the first externally adjustable slicing & dicing blade. Through observing users processing food in food processors it was discovered that placing the handle off to the left enabled the user to have more control and better visibility of the processed foods.

The Jenn-Air free standing refrigerator line was designed to build off the aesthetic in the built-in product line. The use of simple aluminum and glass components embodied the sophisticated aesthetic the premium consumer expected in products. The interior component solutions were designed to be scaled from platform to platform with minimal or no tooling changes allowing the business to roll out the product line faster and with less investment.
Maytag Brand Mark - Along with new product launches and brand position the Maytag brand needed a new mark and badge. The goal was to emphasize the brands strength and reliability while communicating the sense of heritage. After working along side a graphic design company to establish the "shield" theme, I transformed the 2D into 3D through surface data creation and good communication with the vendor. Color and finish were also my responsibility.
