This was a group project where we had to find the mathematical principles involved in the process of launching a compressed air bottle rocket. The bottle was filled 1/3 of its capacity with water and then a pump was used to pressurize it and propel it. we used video footage to determine the speed and from there we worked out its mathematical components and other characteristics.
