RockerPrototype - Inspired by childhood memories of assembling model cars, all the components of the rockers are milled from a 2-dimensional surface and constructed into a 3-dimensional form.

PrototypeVase - The "PrototypeVase" explores the possibility for replicating the natural environment in a very unnatural way. The vase is composed of layers of laser cut acrylic that create an artificial environment that serves as the final resting place for flowers before they travel to that great garden in the sky. To nourish the flowers, the user pours water over the top of the vase. The water then seeps down through the tiny nodes and into the bulbs in which the flowers are placed.
SchoolDeskSideTable - The "SchoolDeskSideTable" is a visual collage of my own memories from elementary school. The school desk components come together in a whimsical composition that serves as a side table for someone who desires a nostalgic reminder of their school days.
LightBalls - Constructed out of Romex, which is normally hidden in walls. Here it becomes the structure of the lamp as well as serving as a light diffuser.

KnotLamp - The "KnotLamp" was inspired by not so fond childhood memories of having to untie the christmas lights every holiday season after they had mysteriously become tangled while in storage over the course of the year.

MiroTable - A cast concrete and cast iron table based off of the paintings of Joan Miro.
ThesisPieces - ThesisPieces is a collage of furniture typologies and references from the two institutions that dominated my childhood: religion and education. The installation represents not only my story, but also the story of the viewer based on their experiences with the recognizable forms presented in the piece.
