Texture, 2015. *Texture: Texture is the surface quality. It's how an object feels, or what it looks like it feels like. For example, it could be bumpy, smooth or rough.
Value, 2015. *Value: Value is black and white and the grays in-between. It is dark to light, and can add drama and impact to a photo. It also gives a sense of timelessness.

Form, 2015. *Form: form is a contained area. It can be geometric or organic. Form is three- dimensional and is used to create a sense of space.
Shape, 2015. *Shape: Shape is a contained area. It can be geometric or organic. Shape is two- dimensional and is used to create a sense of space.
Color, 2015. *Color: The artistic term is Hue. Color schemes are used to enhance appeal, and/or make impact. You need light to see colors.
Line, 2105. *Line: A line is a mark made by a moving point. It has a greater length than width, and directs the eye- horizontal, vertical, curvy, etc. Can be an obvious line, or the border of edges or shapes.
Space, 2015. *Space: The area used or unused in composition. Can be positive space, or negative space. Gives photo a 3D feeling and gives the photo depth.
