CNC Joint - A reinterpretation of a 2 way joint for a CNC machine. A lap and pin joint was taken as an inspiration. The end result uses its inherent geometry to resist lateral forces and replaces the pin used in the original lap joint. The end result can be equated to a curved dovetail.
Column Subtraction - To remove exactly 50 percent of the volume of a 4x4x18 inch column in a study of porosity.
