The entry for the NC booth was our logo, blown up to 8 feet high and 16 feet wide. It got your attention across the convention floor. I have some photographs from the initial setup; the production images are below.
The Department of Commerce divided their convention space among NASCAR affiliates, city governments, chambers of commerce, universities, and community colleges.
I created the ghosted checkered graphic as a unifying element and for visual interest on the few panels that were unsponsored.
This PRI Show took place just as Charlotte had won the rights for the NASCAR Hall Of Fame.
Langtree At The Lake was one of the show exhibitors.
The great majority of exhibiting sponsors did not provide camera-ready art, especially material that could be successfully enlarged for an 8 foot by 8 foot wall.
Some photos provided were better than others and required finessing to make them work.
The internet was a great resource when the sponsor contact couldn't provide all the visual material needed.
The Mooresville booth was designed with the old city logo.
Some logos for the sponsors and donors were not suitable for production so I rebuilt them in Illustrator. Cool cars.
I was point-of-contact for booth production. I coordinated the project with the Department of Commerce and was the liaison for for all the exhibitors. I oversaw the production of the panels and their delivery to the exhibit site.
