A decorated porcelain tile. This piece was an exploration of a laser-cutter's potential for ceramic applications. The images were created in several layers: the trunk was etched into the porcelain and filled with a wash, the branches were sintered on, and the leaves were added using a laser-cut stencil. The birdhouses were applied with a simple photo decal.
