A model of Canary Wharf produced in Google SketchUp.
The Empire State Building, also made using Google SketchUp
A model of the Millennium Dome/O2 Arena, again produced in Google SketchUp.
I chose to model a toy helicopter to get to grips with the advanced features of ProENGINEER. I only got as far as the rotor blades pictured in the time I had to work with the program (at St Augustine's), but even this incomplete model demonstrates the power of ProENGINEER's rendering functions.
These folding scissors were modelled using ProENGINEER, and were also later produced using CAM processes.
A 3D model of the USS Enterprise as it appears in the 2009 film Star Trek. This was built entirely using ProDESKTOP and was later exported to a number of CAM machines to be made into a physical model.
This is a model of the jewellery box I made out of recycled pine (more information is available in the Woodwork projections section of my portfolio). The CAD models were used to produce working drawings for manufacturing the product.
I used 2D Design to create my wedding stationary in 2011. The design pictured here was used for the day invitations. These were produced by mounting gloss paper onto silver card, which was then cut using a plotter cutter.
This design was used for both the "save the date" cards and the evening invitations.
These table centres were produced using the same theme. They were made out of white acrylic using a laser cutter.
The seating plan for the wedding was produced in the same way as the invitations.
I produced this Disney-themed wedding stationary for my friend using the laser cutter.
I produced this Disney-themed wedding stationary for my friend using the laser cutter.
This congratulations card was produced using a laser cutter.
This 2D Design drawing was used to produce the base for the USS Enterprise model (see CAD/CAM section of the portfolio for more information on the Enterprise project). The parts of the base are nested; once cut using the laser cutter, these were stacked and glued in place to create the three dimensional base.
