self portrait a- 'close and far' - photography and manipulation assignment
self portrait b- 'hard to read' - photography and manipulation assignment
people portrait project- kristin 1 - a wide aperture draws detail to the curtain, yet her mysterious sihouette, while drawn to the background, still ultimatley catpures the viewers attention.
people portrait project - kristin 2 - a wide aperture and offset frame brings an ultimate focus to the subject.
people portrait project - kristin 3 - i broke the rules, by placing myself at a reflective vantage point, this image becomes a self-portrait within a portrait.
people portrait project - ryan 1 - I was looking to capture the raw and age old relationship between, quite simply, man and dog.
people portrait project - ryan 2 - Utilizing a fast shutter speed, i minimized blur and froze the dog in motion.
people portrait project - shannon 1 - Playing upon the subjects heritage, I chose a location, position, and vantage point which would ideally appear playful. The top of the building frames the left corner whereas the subject frames the bottom right.
people portrait project - nathan 1 - I wished to experiment with a more macro view of the pillar with the subject receding into a distant perspective. the subject remains the focal point yet the detail that was allowed from the macro view of the pillar makes the image quite visually interesting.
people portrait project - katie 1
people portrait project - katie 2 - the grooves of the sidewalk act as lines leading the viewer directly and effortlessly to the subject as the sole focal point.
