Self Portrait - The painting in the background is a scene from Antigua, Guatemala, where my father was from. This portraits represents who I was at the time it was made. My father had just died which then led me in to a deeper respect for my heritage and where I came from. My father inspired me to chase after my dreams and to never give up on a challenge. The open door in the background symbolizes new opportunities and goals that I am currently facing or will face in the future.
