During my time at SAIC, I was involved in an industry project sponsored by a large electronics company. We were asked to produce design proposals for mobile applications aimed at connecting people over long distances. Our final designs were presented at Chicago, LA, and Seoul to the head of mobile devices for the company.
The first half of the class was focused on user research and analysis of our findings. The second half was about designing and developing our ideas to meet the user needs.
For our final deliverable we created a mobile application that encourages loved ones to keep in touch.
