The purpose was to a design tobacco pipe which can connect traditional design with the new-coming materials and unusual design. The traditional tobacco pipe is
wooden, which is considered to be the best material for being made from. Except wood, the tobacco pipe can be metal, ceramic or glass. This materials are used also for insert. My aim was to use wood as an insert, because it is unusual and not often used for this purpose. With this material I wanted save basic facilities and taste of tobacco. The top of the pipe can be designed from synthetic stone or ceramic materials. Thanks to these materials the pipe is smooth and glossy and therefore the product is getting to the new dimension. The slots at the top are made to procurement the interference of materials and my aim was to demonstrate the symbolism of absorbing one material by another one.
