Self-Directed Learning

Malcolm Knowles describes Self-Directed Learning as a process in which individuals take the initiative, with or without the help of other, to diagnose their learning needs, formulate learning goals, identify resources for learning, select and implement learning strategies, and evaluate learning outcomes. At the INL we implement some SDL courses using student manuals. These manuals guide students through the curriculum.

The following is an example of a self-directed learning course I created.
