Stryker - Rugged Stair Chair - 1/2 Scale Plastic Model
This project was done for Stryker Patient Handling. A stair chair is used by EMS to transport patients down stairways, often through multiple flights and around corners. The project required that the chair fold from storage position to a flat stretcher and then from a stretcher to a stair chair while a patient was on-board.
4Square Table Prototype
Fabricated with 2 types of laminated wood, light Maple and dark Walnut. The table is packaged flat and assembles with only 4 screws.
ARCHair Prototype
Inspired by the Eames' work and with some Asian influence, the ARCHair concept is fabricated from laminated wood.
Shell Collapsible Tension Chair Design
This project used steel cables to draw tension through the wooden spines of the chair.
