The Trackfront Boardwalk was submitted as an entry in a contest for the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Entrants were instructed to design an exterior environment of the casino's dog racing track with the goal of making a more family friendly environment. I chose to theme my experience around the great boardwalks of the early 20th century such as the ones at Coney Island and Atlantic City. Some select features of my design included classic boardwalk food stops, a mix of classic and modern arcades, miniature golf, a daycare, and shopping stops. The design took first place in the competition.
