Cultural Analysis of Chinese subculture in cyberspace

Subject - Design and Culture: Cultural Identity and Authorship

Brief- Consider a Chinese or Hong Kong cultural phenomena and analyse it through the aspect of various cultural artifacts i.e. image, time, body, space, object. The study should have a semiotic analysis of the phenomena and should include discussion of the issues about the meaning of “Hong Kong Cultural industry” in relation to design.

My topic - I analysed the famous Chinese subculture FeiZhuLiu (FZL) in cyberspace. FZL is basically a "counterculture" or anti-mainstream trend, fashion, or lifestyle in China, which is popular among teens.
