Thesis July 2012
For my final thesis, I aimed to create a service that would assist pregnant, migrant women in Turin, Italy. I did in depth research. My secondary research consisted of finding articles, interviews online, reading blogs of women in foreign countries who had given birth while abroad, and finding benchmarks. My primary research consisted of interviewing general nurses who have helped Mexican migrants in the United States, translators, the director of foreign services in Turin, Italy, and a psychiatric nurse. From the research I developed my target group, journey maps, and narrowed down pain points. My concept development was inspired by already existing services and ideas. I highlighted stakeholders and sponsors and created a project flow. I also included a scenario of how my service would function.
