The SonoStick was a semester-long team project for an Entrepreneurship course which required us to create a detailed business plan for a technology venture. Our product was a music-therapy device for children with autism. Autistic individuals often have social deficiencies, meaning they have trouble expressing themselves through conversation. However, art can be used as an alternative venue for therapeutic self-expression, and our product helps change the way children interact with music. We help our users realize that music is not just a hobby or recreational activity, but an overall force for good.
