During my time on the Hulu On-Channel team as a Contract Production Designer, I primarily worked on cover stories, involving heavy use of Photoshop compositing with key art and/or still images, ensuring that layouts fit into various UI template sizes for living room and mobile devices. Overall, I worked on over 234 titles, usually anywhere between 10-15 titles/day. Many of the original assets (particularly older movies/films) provided where rasterized images, without layers, so some titles required a lot more Photoshop work involving removing out copy titles and/or extending the images from vertical format to horizontal format. Here are some examples of what I've done. The "before" images are the assets provided and the "after" is what I created. The "UX View" shows how the UI works with the artwork.
