Strut-A-Mutt Logo for Greensboro SPCA - The local chapter of the SPCA was looking for a logo to brand their local chapter of "Strut-A-Mutt". The client wanted the logo to portray the "mutt" in a lighthearted view, rather than the typical sadness depicted in shelter animal ads. They also wanted the image to entice the prospective viewer to become involved in and support the local SPCA.
The Art Bin - The concept behind the graphic of the cardboard box was to play off of the starving artist theme. The arrow coming out of the box is pulled from a recycling symbol to further emphasize the found aspect behind the artwork the newsletter focuses on. The text accompanying the graphic is made to look like distressed writing that would appear on a worn cardboard box. The tagline "Beyond the Box" is in relationship to artwork that extends beyond the typical framed square format.
Partnership Village Logo - Partnership Village is a transitional housing community for formerly homeless individuals and families. The graphic shows the feeling of community through the individuals forming the shape of a house. The hand underneath depicts the helping hand of the organization, which lifts their clients upwards towards success. The font choice is bold to represent a foundation of strength, while it's italicized to represent moving forward. The color green in the logo represents growth, rebirth and renewal.
King Kona Energy Drink Logo - The concept behind this project was to create a new brand of energy drink. Being an avid coffee drinker, I decided to create an energy drink based on coffee. I wanted to use the image of "King Kong" to represent the strength and power of a good cup of strong Java. If you look close you will see King Kona is eating a coffee bean.
Tres Hombres Resteraunt Logo - This logo was part of a menu project. The logo was to appear on the front cover of the restaurant menu. In the design of the logo I wanted to capture the entertaining aspect of Mariachi bands.
