· According to the World Health Organization, one major environmental health problem in Beirut (my hometown) is air pollution due to cars, factories, power plants and quarries.
These crucial environmental facts that raise serious questions about new developments of cities, help us realize that in order to solve environmental problems, it requires drastic change in social behavior.
