Tate Britian - Newspaper design for Tate Britain for an exhibition of Edgar Degas. The Newspaper containts reviews of a painting of Degas called L'absinthe. The look and feel on the design reflected the 1930s style. A newsgripper was used to hold the paper together. This work was done while i was at a placement at together Design.
Soul Curry- ISTD - Fish and Chips. The brief was to design a tourist promotion book promoting the stereotypical defination of a country in a positive way. Having lived away from India for 4 years i could understand the sterotypes of India. The book has been a craft as India is all about textures. The publication reflects the mood and smell of India
SouthBank, London - The sandwich box plays with the ‘concept of everybody needs a place to think, work, entertain and to love'. The sandwich book inside the box cover each of the following aspects and has thoughts of people who were visiting the bank. People at the bank were randomly asked what they were thinking about and why were they visiting the bank. They wrote down their views in the respective books. It was interesting to read what people had to say about the bank.
Calender for a paper company - A day with paper. The calendar plays with the idea of importance of paper in our daily life. Our day starts with a paper cup, followed by tissue paper, then we read the newspaper and perhaps do some paper work. Different paper and techniques of paper manipulation has been used.
