Poster announcement for game
The digital game board was installed in the lobby of the Graduate Design Studios while the data and images that were submitted were also publicly displayed on another monitor in the lobby for everyone to see. Cube Lords would receive a scepter and crown and using RFID could wave them in front of a sensor to announce to the studio that they had just become the Cube Lord.
To obtain game currency, each player had to perform a task or relinquish a piece of personal data to the system. This could be anything from their middle name to silly pictures of themselves to more private information such as their financial login/passwords. We quickly discovered the lengths people would go to to compete in the game and become Cube Lord.
