The design takes inspiration from the different origins of the coffee and giving each blend its own distinct color palette. In an office environment, the colors and numbers offer a quick visual guide in selecting and remembering the blend. This method is reinforced further in the foil lid design.
Additional consideration was made in designing the packaging in a vertical format instead of the standard horizontal format. This minimizes the footprint of the packaging in a crowded office environment while allowing multiple blends to be display next to each other.
Nicholas Coffee wants to update their coffee packaging to reflect their brand history. The packaging tells the story of the company while retaining the standard shape of pod coffee packaging.
