Ultralight Knife
Designed for Montie Gear, this is an ultra-lightweight knife with a distinctive sheath. The aluminum sheath has a novel release mechanism that allows instant one handed use even gloved. The knife and sheath together weigh a feathery 3.7 ounces (a little lighter than an iPhone 5).
I was the primary developer on this project, responsible for product appearance, mechanical solutions, SolidWorks modeling, rendering, CAD drawings for manufacturing, and assembly drawings.
