Messalina Schneider - A plastic board for cutting vegetables, meat and so forth. But certainly you need knives for cutting as well. And to avoid an additional knife block ...
... the knives hide inside the board where the blades stay protected in the plastic. Only the handles are visible on the bottom side, embedded into the board. If needed, the board can be opened up so the handles themselves can be pulled out.

Giessela Bloomfield - Wet potter’s clay has a darker color than dry clay. The design benefits from this feature, inspired by vanishing script. On the dry potter’s clay the writing “giess mich” (water me) is visible, if the plant needs water. As soon as it has been watered ...
... the script, written in the color of wet clay, gets invisible. The writing does not appear again until the dirt gets dry.

Siebfried Reibert - This colander would actually be a typical noodle colander. If not ...

upside down - Kitchen Workplace meets Workbench - Inspired by working benches and canteen kitchens »upside down« supports the daily actions in the kitchen by offering different tools which are hidden underneath its surface. If needed they can be integrated into the work flow (cutting, stirring, e.g.), where they minimize the effort of strength and ease repetitive movements of the hands. The design was developed with focus on the special needs of seniors but without being limited to this target group.
