  • Ahhhh...the wall of shame. I wish I could post my concepts that did not make it. I would get sued like a mother. I recently pulled some questionable work. Sweet layout!

  • haha I wish they were like a design studio! They are an engineering/manufacturing company that builds custom computers for the military. But, lately they are developing biometric products, we buy all the internals except for a circuit board we design that everything plugs in to. So basically I come up with a cool shape and put all the stuff inside of it

  • What is this?

  • The computer itself is called a BPAC. Biometric Portable Acquisition Computer. Its used by the military or police to identify people based on their fingerprints, face, or retinas. The card reader on the back that I designed is just one more step to the enrollment process. Its sort of a pass-card to a security checkpoint, it's contact/contactless card reader attachment for that product. It could also be used to give the soldier permission to use the device as a key that activates it.

  • Nice render and robust design. The circular "bumpers" around the fasterers are a nice addition. Cool.

  • dont think they are unsuccesful, they are good concepts and all concept work is towards a succesful product. And cool layout as well.

  • thanks man, this was mostly just me being dramatic and an inside joke for the people I work with. But I agree with you, because of these I was able to improve the end results of the others.
