A Partnership with Nature: A Work in Progress
My project utilizes natural processes as a tool in the design methodology. My first item is a lumineer that engages the growth of sugar crystals to manipulate the quality of light created from an LED lamp. My second item is a set of tactile flatware. What elevates this set above any other is that the foam positive for the mold has been sculpted by a mouse.
