Horizon - Beoform - Piece selected for the Modern+Design+Function show at the DWR in Chicago. I wanted a very minimal solution that still had emotion.

Pollen: a conceptual phone booth for the near future - Pollen is a response to the global society and its ever growing relationship with mobile technology and digital information. Pollen provides shelter for those who have their own means of mobile communication and a communication point for those who do not. Pollen is cellular, allowing it to be placed where needed in order to adapt to alternative environments and landscapes. Pollen was designed so that panels may be added or removed, providing alternative spatial configurations. Pollen is a conscience effort to reestablish the relevance of the phone booth within a global society. Pollen was designed with Usama Hajj.( renders by Usama Hajj )
Tenu: a lighting object - A lighting solution for the domestic environment which places importance on the interaction between user and object. Tenu, inspired by the dialogue and aesthetic of a flower and vase presents a large base with an impression for elements to be placed within - the light intensity emitted corresponds accordingly to the amount of elements placed within the impression. Tenu's base is made of a resign coated anodized aluminum form, this captures a surface aesthetic similar to that of calm water. Tenu is the result of an idea to incorporate ritual into an everyday interaction. Tenu was designed with Jeffery Chiu and Usama Hajj.( renders by Jeffery Chiu )
