Brief: Strengthen the image of the brand Carlton on the semi-rigid luggage consumer sector. The market segment was premium, and the idea was to provide a more elegant style to a family luggage range. The range would consist only of two wheels luggage (upright), available in 3 sizes (from cabin to large), and would be nest-able. The luggage range would be made of semi-rigid Polycarbonate shells and would feature a zip system. Strategic design choice: Offer more elegant, smart and yet simple & affordable luggage, so everyone could travel with style, thanks to Carlton. Carlton - Travel luggage range Choice of classic & contemporary colours, but trendy, from the premium car market (Citroën DS4), strong symbol of the journey with style. Simple and soft shapes, while bringing a touch of personality by strong structural lines. Research of an overall simple shape (like a pebble), structured by 2 vertical lines of force, giving a reading direction to the product, naturally bringing the detail of the front storage, the protective bumper at the bottom of the luggage and also the retractable handle. A front net on the ventral shell helps to carry a newspaper or an umbrella.
