Volvo P66 - SET - New Vehicle Layouts

A Research and Design project for SET - a collaboration between Volvo Trucks and The Institute of Design at Umea University. The project lasted for 5 and a half months and was conducted at Volvo 3P in Gothenburg. The Project Objective was to research and visualize through design the possible gains in fuel efficiency and safety, that would come if the front of a Semi Trailer Tractor was aerodynamically optimized and fitted with a longer crash absorption zone. The result would be used in the development of future trucks. I designed both Volvo and Renault branded trucks.
