This project involved the complete demolition and remodel of an existing teaching kitchen to better serve the needs of a growing culinary program within a higher education setting. The new design significantly expands the instructional kitchen area, accommodating more students, additional commercial-grade kitchen equipment, and maximizing storage capacity. Careful spatial planning ensured an efficient workflow for both teaching and hands-on learning, while meeting current health, safety, and accessibility standards. In addition to the kitchen upgrades, new storage solutions were integrated into the adjacent classroom area, supporting instructional materials and enhancing the overall functionality of the learning environment. The remodel creates a modern, flexible, and professional-grade culinary space designed to support student success and program growth.
