The transformation. There're many phases an " Ankylosing Spondylitis " goes through. Capturing the memory of how strong and healthy he was, and what he has become now. This would be the last phase where the disease has taken over his body, mind and soul as a scorpion taking over his prey and invading his body transforming his spinal cord into a scorpion from. Everything becomes a graveyard image, right and left he goes walking around as a dead body. Materials used: Gouache, water-colours, collage.
The attack. Picturing how isolated and fearful he's now as the scorpion is attacking him and spreading its poison into his body. But still there's a glance of hope portrayed on the left side of the painting as if it's sucking away a portion of the poison. Materials: Gouche, and collage.
