Concept Design:
The Set Design: The alure of ruling a colony is the main theme of the play, thus the set design
is inspired from the shape of the
spider as it symbloizes mischief, malice,
and dominance .
The Costumes: They are used to represnt the two different worlds emphasized by
Shakespeare in the play, the
natural and un-natural world.
.The inhabitants of the island are
dressed up in a way that portrays the
unpretentiousness of their living by
using natural occuring materils.
.The tyrants’s costumes are composed
of stiff lines showing their cruel
and oppressive characters among with
the richness of their own culture.
