Shelter is a sculpture for an assignment to make additive and subtractive wood sculptures relating to the theme of the human body. I chose to design a shelter for the additive piece, and a lounge chair for the subtractive. The design is purely a formal, and was an exercise in creating two separate pieces with unique forms within the same design language, .
