Wheelbarrow Chair
The Wheelbarrow Chair was designed and fabricated in Copenhagen, Denmark as part of a furniture design program at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, in the summer of 2014. The form is inspired by the form of a wheelbarrow, a ubiquitous utilitarian object that I saw throughout the city. The form has been refined from that of a wheelbarrow to the chair's current form. The three-legged frame is extremely sturdy, and the armrests function as handles to assist getting in and out of the chair.
