The concept of this space is to give the users of the space a sense of control over their environment, a sense of normalcy and familiarity. Since this space is held under a hdb void deck, i wanted to create a space that reflects that also retains and embrace the authencity of an hdb.
It is proven that by using brighter and optimistic colours it will boost the mood and morale of the users. Hence, green and blue hues were introduced. This is also in a way to bring nature inside the space.
The feature wall is to represent the old gates that Singapore old hdbs used to have. This feature also acts as a space for customers to give encouraging words to the workers to help boost their morale and confidence. By doing this, they will be more motivated to enter the workforce.
