Passivhaus Urban School, Glasgow (Stage 4, 2012)
Central School of English Language and Literacy on Gordon St operates as a social enterprise and is a welcoming learning hub for a wide variety of people. A theme that unites the project is sustainability. The building is designed to the Passivhaus standard, uses recycled materials and cross-laminated timber panels in its construction and provides integrated habitat for birds.
